The Mindfulness of Anxiety

The pitter patter of the rain is as relaxing as is the rocking of a train. It clears the mind of all the worries of your life. Even the flash of lightening followed by a crack of thunder can be of comfort to those who suffer the pain of anxiety.

These times are precious but unfortunately few.

Waves crashing against rocks or the lapping of the sea on the beach can take you to a place of solace. The mind is emptied and the contentment it brings unleashes an abundance of relief to feel at peace with yourself and everything around you.

All too quickly the world we know comes back to haunt you once more. The time it took to relive you of the stresses of life is vaporised in an instant.

Oh how I wish for the pitter patter of the rain.
