Beautiful write Whitesnake .. It reminded me of a story I watched on TV on Sunday evening. Jack Thompson, a very well known Australian actor, went back to Cambodia where he helped to build an orphanage for children who'd been orphaned by war. When he arrived at the orphanage 20 years later, Jack entered playing the same song on his harmonica that he had played to the boy 20 years earlier & the boy (now a man) remembered....running straight into his arms. A beautiful moment!
It's an interesting image...blinded by the need to think in pictures? I've read that people born blind grow up thinking in terms of "seeing" with their fingers. Some, or all of them? No idea.

Only a few words but you painted a very realistic, and sad, picture. The illustration caught the theme perfectly.

A great poem I wonder if people who have been blind all their life have any idea of how the world looks like.

We are so filled with pictures... sometimes they block us from what's real... but every once in a while it becomes reality
