Keeping Whitenake Up Again!
Last night we went to KB's Mum and Dad's place for a BBQ and had a fantastic time.
Our friend Greg was kind enough to pick us up and drop us off so as to give my darling babe at least one night where she doesn't have to drive home and worry about drink driving.
This week has been one of those weeks ya kind of get once in while that makes you realise how far you have come yet you still have a long way to go.
Just as KB picks her self up I, unwittingly take a downer.
Frustration and anger from experiences at work have taken their toll and I am so looking forward to the time off after the coming weeks shift.
The beauty and advantage of having a wonderful woman like Karen by your side is she is so supportive and understanding.
We both understand panic attacks and anxiety issues and are able to help each other deal with all that comes our way.
When we started talking about our feelings we both discovered that we had forgotten everything we had been through to get where we are today. Marriage break ups, moving house (twice) worrying about how we would survive. Together, we just strolled through it without giving it too much thought and now we are the stage where we need to set more goals and targets.
Those dreams are already in the making and we are now appreciating all we have achieved and we are grateful for every moment we share.
The next recipe is up Sesame Seed Chicken and during my time off Karen and I will be trying out the recipes that some of you have sent in. We both appreciate you contributions.
KB has a heart set on a healthier lifestyle and even has two friends who are joining in. Marja and Missy have decided to give it a try. As for me, I support everything my babe does and ultimately I actually go with the flow. As a matter of fact I unbelievably told KB not to buy something cos it wasn't healthy or something along those lines. The look on her face was priceless. What has she done to me?
So to summarise, Simply Delish is coming along nicely. After next week I will be on holiday for about 2 weeks and will be trying to start writing a bit more. Hoping Coco will have some more posts up and KB will be improving her self and me with her ideas.
Karen my darling I Love you so very much. Thank you for believing in me and thankyou for being you.
On aother note thank you for keeping Whitesnake up..................AGAIN!
Whitesnakes do it better ........With a KB by your side XXXX

You are my inspiration. Thank you for being you and thank you the wonderful time we shared with family xxxx
Hello my friend, setbacks aside, you have been very productive since my last visit. Writing, working, loving, COOKING!!! Ahhh feeding the sole!
Speaking of which... Thailand was amazing. I braved the backstreets of Bangkok, floated on the River Kwai, paid my respects at Helfire Pass (very emotional), touched Tigers (WOW), partied in Phuket, snorkled in the emerald waters of the Andaman, swam at "The Beach", shopped up a storm (of course), just stood in awe of the view (many times), walked hand in hand along beautiful beaches, given a hand along jungle treks and ate the most fantastic food in the most fabulous, unusual and unlikley of places.
Till next time, take care.
Love Sandy
