the darkness of winter,

who came up with that?

some morbid poor soul,

or the cat in the hat.

winter is part,

of what we go through,

it has its place in life's circle,

so that things start a new.

oh yes we have rain,

and yes there is snow,

 hibernate into sadness,

is not where i go,

if it wasn't for winter,

 there would be no spring,
