LOL... this brings me back to summers, sitting in the kitchen with my mom as she watched her stories & cooked!

So true. Like me you chose to use haiku here and you've used it to great effect. Time slips away from us and sometimes I wonder how much of our lives can be classified as wasted (sleep is wasted time too yet necessary). Great haiku Whitesnake.
I like simple.
We were just talking about that the other day, then all I could think about the rest of the day was the music for the intro to that soap.
