When the one whose hand you’re holding
Is the one who holds your heart
You remember how this came to be,
How it tore you both apart,
You think of all the times you cried,
All the times you went without,
The silence in the world around you,
It never heard you shout!
You look across the bed now,
You watch the woman sleep,
Her heart is in your hands now,
Her heart and soul you keep.

So lovely, to be together after the time of long distance living. Yay! I love happy love stories.
Amen!
What a great thing to overcome the distance and be together.
A beautiful description of a living relationship :)
This is a beautiful, eloquent piece, rendered with such poignant tenderness. Wonderful!
