Birthday Blues

I don't feel old but I wonder if that is because I never have really worried about old age or getting old. We have to get old, we have no choice so I don't worry about it. It is out of my control so if I can't change it then leave life to flow as it must.

24th Nov was my 51st birthday and the second one I have spent with KB. Unfortunately my darling Karen wasn't feeling the best so out I went on my tod.
Kept the day simple. A pub close by with a select few to share a few beers, a chat, a laugh, a whinge, a feed and a promise to catch up with each other more regularly.
I had a great time and KB's dad even turned up which I really appreciated because he is always worried about having a drink earlier that 19:00 hrs so I brought him a coffee. KB's other friend Greg also rocked up and his company certainly proved entertaining.
The last person to pitch a tent was my mate Ian.
Ian is the first friend I ever made in New Zealand and believe it or not we met at a pub. He is one of those mates that ya see every so often but when ya catch up it's like ya haven't been apart.
All in all a great time was had by all.

Keeping up with KB is up along with another .Walkabout I guess most of you who follow Walkabout probably thing that we only have beaches here. We will get to other stuff some where down the track.
Anyway, today KB is feeling a lot better, Coco is lounging in the sunshine and I am half watching the cricket.
