It was a wrong number that started it, So why is that when ya ring the wrong number they are always home?
the telephone ringing three times in the dead of night, One wonders for whom the bell tolls and whats wrong with dead of the day? Lots of people day during daylight hours......GEEEZZ

The telephone ringing three times in the dead of night,
The the wife answered it promptly,
While her lover took flight,
It was me on the phone,
That woke the pair from their slumber,
I just told the poor woman,
I had the wrong number!
