how do I tell you what I’m feeling.
when you never understand the why
tried explaining,
its like water mixed with wine,
no sense at all.
sunsets at dawn,
rainbows after the sunshine,
rain without the raindrops,
arriving after one departs,
no one hears the call.
the blind man seeing,
a deaf man hearing,
dumb man talking,
love is emotion,
no one see’s it fall.
it’s all emotion,
can’t make you realise,
where i been where i’m going,
you just don’t know,
i’ll just continue down the hall..

Happy Birthday Babe. Love your One Shot but the pic is rather distracting, even for me...LOL!

ReplyDeleteAnd thus love is without rational..nice oneshot
ReplyDeleteWell stated, Whitesnake. I especially like the lines that follow the introduction of nonsense (sunsets at dawn, / rainbows after the sunshine, / rain without the raindrops,) It all has a very nice ring it it. Cheers
ReplyDeleteCarrying away from this an image of both complication and undivided effort to be understood amidst the contradictions. As good a definition of love as any. Nice piece.
ReplyDeleteNice shot, Whitesnake!
ReplyDeleteSmart, emotionally true work.
ReplyDeleteGood one!
ReplyDeleteThose last lines linger: "where i been where i'm going, / you just don't know, /i'll just continue down the hall."
Nicely done! Happy Birthday, Whitesnake!
ReplyDeleteI liked the poetry and the ending was so perfect.. I will just continue down the hall... beautiful.
